The Ravin R18 crossbow is the first crossbow in the world equipped with "vertical" cams, the innovative system is called VertiCoil, the R18 crossbow is the shortest Ravin ever created with only a length of only 46 cm (it will suit all templates). The VertiCoil cams system rotates the very small cams 720 degrees, wrapping the ropes and cables around the cam and cam axle (like the Helicoil system), allowing a reduced axle-to-axle width to 3.3cm armed and 10.4cm unarmed, and a permanent width of 12cm.
